Our Business

We at undigitize have aimed to make digital music sound more analog. We have taken the best qualities from analog and digital, to elevate your music listening experience. The presence, smoothness, liquidity, and dimensionality of analog have been matched with the ease of use, greater possible dynamic range, and lower possible distortion of digital.  At the same time, the worst qualities from analog and digital are avoided. The hiss, clicks, crackles, and pops from analog and the digital and sampling artifacts from digital will no longer detract from your musical journey.

Does this mean that only analog lovers will garner benefits from undigitize? Not at all! Those people that are entrenched in the digital world can discover why some analog lovers go through their special rituals, just to prepare for their listening sessions.

How does the undigitize process work? That information is proprietary - but we can tell you that we do not use reverb and EQ, or CD copying and disc treatments, like others that have attempted our goals prior to us.

Our design team consists of six engineers with degrees in computers and engineering, with more than 115 years of combined experience within the computer and pro audio industries. They are all musicians, which helped to contribute to their enthusiasm to our endeavor. Our final handiwork was a two year long process, from start to final refinements.

There is no need for some special player - as discs from undigitize will work with any CD player that can playback a black CD-R.
